ONLY OBITUARIES FOUND IN THE
ONLINE
SEARCHABLE DATABASE
ARE ELIGIBLE
FOR THIS PROCEDURE. OTHER OBITUARY SEARCH REQUESTS ARE SUBJECT TO REGULAR RESEARCH SERVICE
RATES ($15.00 hourly).
If you do not have access to the Newspaper Microfilm rolls at Grand Rapids Public Library or Library of Michigan, from the results of the index search we can provide you with a photocopy of the actual obituary. Ordering now can be done via the Obituary Index database and checkout feature. You will have the option of paying online or by check.

Obituaries are $5.00 each
PLEASE NOTE:
The index is not 100% accurate and occasionally we will not be able to
find an individual obituary. This is rare, but WMGS will not refund for
individual obituaries searched, but not located.
*Please allow 6 - 10 weeks for obituary requests as our volunteers are very
busy fulfilling requests.
