We have set up a discussion list for Western Michigan Genealogy on RootsWeb. This is the WMGS-TALK list. You can use this list to post queries and to reply to Queries other people make that are pertinent to your genealogical researches in Western Michigan. Or share lists of surnames you're working on, or in some way discuss genealogy in Western Michigan.

Please note that this list IS NOT for requests to the WMGS Search Committee for paid research, but only for discussion amongst list members using resources they have available. The WMGS-NEWS mailing list is setup as a way to make our monthly newsletter available to interested non Members as well as Members who receive the printed version of it. The address to send a subscription to is WMGS-NEWS-L-request@rootsweb.com with "subscribe" (without the quotes) in the message subject.

The Newsletter is only sent every month or two, so this Newsletter isn't going to be the one that fills up your mailbox if you go away for a few weeks.
