New Public Hours at the Library of Michigan

Effective July 7, Library Open 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday

The Library of Michigan's has new hours of operation starting Tuesday, July 7. The change of hours will provide a more consistent schedule of hours of operation than the library is currently open. The changes will also help the facility to control overall costs. Hours in the main library will be 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Read more

A New Research Tool

Card File Subject Index to Grand Rapids Newspapers
The Story of Grand Rapids was edited by Z. Z. Lydens (Grand Rapids, Michigan: Kregel Publications, 1966). A subject card file, citing primarily newspaper articles was prepared during the project and serves as an indirect index to Grand Rapids newspapers.
