A New Research Tool
Card File Subject Index to
Grand Rapids Newspapers
The Story of Grand Rapids was edited by Z. Z. Lydens (Grand
Rapids, Michigan: Kregel Publications, 1966). A subject card file,
citing primarily newspaper articles was prepared during the project
and serves as an indirect index to Grand Rapids newspapers.

March 17 , 2008 What's New at the Archives
The March 17, 2008 meeting of KVGS
will be our popular “What’s New at the Archives” evening. WMU
Archives Director Dr. Sharon Carlson and her staff will bring us up

The Archives is in room 111, East
Hall, on the old East Campus of WMU, located on the east side of
Oakland Drive, just south of Waldo Stadium. Doors will open at 6
p.m. Come early to browse the Archives shelves, or, if you are new
to the Archives, we will have volunteers on hand to give you a quick
tour. The short business meeting will begin at 7 p.m. There will be
time to research on your own after the meeting and presentation.
